FormatOne-act.
SynopsisA man, Michael, and a woman, Mary, meet at night in the ruins of a pub they used to frequent when they were much younger. He would take her for a drive in his car and he was a fine driver, but he was incapable of expressing his true feelings for her. Mary, meanwhile married someone else, a good man, but she is unhappy in her marriage. Michael, though, died in a car crash. Did he kill himself because of Mary, or was it only negligence and drink that caused it? Mary drinks too, to the Half Moon. The play was performed as one of the Sussex Playwrights' finalists in June 2012, and by Telstars (Cardiff) in November 2013
