SynopsisA Good Boy – Synopsis “It is impossible to fight the past; no matter how much I try, the past will always win.” –Vocoda In a small studio flat in east London a young couple try to come to terms with a universal issue that many of us go though at some point and to some degree and yet find it hard to talk openly about. While many can accept this more sexual society that we live in, others, like Sam, can find it difficult to understand and to cope with its consequences. What follows is a journey into the self-destructive behaviour of curiosity and the effect it can have on a long and loving relationship. It all starts with one simple question, a question no-one would give a second thought to, but for Sam its just the beginning of a downward spiral for the need to learn more about his fiancé past, this need grows within him and begins to have a deverstating effect on their plans for the future, the only way he knows how to vent his frustrations and limitations on the subject, is by self-harming, which crates it own problems. “A Good Boy” does not offer any answers, but it stands as a warning.
