SynopsisIn this adaptation of the classic Dumas romance, prisoner Louise Marchiali is the most dangerous secret in the Bastille: the unknown twin sister of King Louis XIV. When a rebellious princess and a sword-wielding Carmelite nun discover Louise, they plot to bring her to safety outside France. But Louise has other plans: to walk in her brother's shoes -- literally. Combining farce, tragedy, and romance with swordplay for the entire cast, this is a unique adaptation and a perfect play for community, school, and university theatre groups seeking an exciting challenge.
