AuthorBULLOCK, Lawrence - Other Plays by this Author - Contact Author
FormatFull-length.
SynopsisIn March of 1895, 28 year old Bridget Cleary, wife of Michael Cleary, disappeared from her cottage in rural County Tipperary, Ireland. Strange and lurid rumors began circulating the neighborhood about what had happened. Among these rumors was the belief that Bridget had been “taken by the fairies.” In actuality, she had been burned to death as a “changeling” by her husband, with the help of family and friends. This play is based on that true story.
